Brockwell Lido: Important Update as Operations Move to Active Lambeth

As you know, Brockwell Lido is moving from Fusion Lifestyle to Active Lambeth (Lambeth Council's leisure service) from 1 July 2026. Both Fusion and the Council have said the Lido is expected to stay open throughout, but the next couple of weeks involve a few practical changes as the handover takes place behind the scenes. The team have a lot to manage during this period, so we'd ask everyone to bear with them, be patient with any queues or hiccups at reception, and stay cooperative — they're doing their best to keep things running smoothly for all users.
Here's a recap of what's changing and what, if anything, you need to do:
Booking online stops soon. You can book as normal via the Fusion website or app up to the end of the day on Monday 22 June. From Tuesday 23 June, online and app booking will close — the Lido will still be open and usable up to 30 June, but on a walk-in basis or by booking at reception only.
The Monday 22 June date means members can book via the app/website for classes or swimming slots for up to Monday 29 June – we encourage you to book up to this date as much as possible.
Any bookings you have already made for a date after 22nd June are fine and will stay valid, even you will not be able to see them on the app/website anymore
Use any cashless credit by 30 June. If you have cashless credit on your Fusion account, it will be honoured up to 30 June 2026 but will not transfer to Active Lambeth and will not be refunded after that date — so do use it before then.
Direct debit payments continue as normal. Fusion will collect your June membership payment as usual. From July onwards, Active Lambeth takes over collecting direct debits — no action needed from you.
Membership details are expected to transfer automatically. Fusion's FAQ describes an opt-out process with a 24 May deadline for anyone who didn't want their account moved across; for everyone else, the implication is that membership and account details will move over to Active Lambeth without further action needed.
Customer service contact is changing. For any queries up to the end of June, Fusion remain your point of contact. From 1 July, queries should go to the centre team directly (more detail on this to follow).
Social media stays the same. The Lido's Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts simply pass over to Active Lambeth — no need to refollow or do anything.
A new app is coming. Active Lambeth has its own booking app; more information on this is expected shortly, and we'll pass it on as soon as we have it.
We know change always raises questions, and BLU will keep speaking up for members' interests as this transition unfolds — including pressing for the investment the site needs. In the meantime, thank you for your patience and continued support of the Lido.
