We have a duty to be fully transparent in our strategy and approach to securing the future of Brockwell Lido. We take our mandate to represent all users very seriously, and this means we continuously strive to ensure all voices are heard.
Charity Status
As of March 2026, Brockwell Lido Users has established a charity (Registered Charity Number 1217038). The Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) will be able to:

Obtain grant funding for the Lido

Receive gift aid on all donations

Engage with third parties as a separate legal entity

Adhere to a standard compliance process
We believe strongly that a representative organisation is critical to protecting the future of Brockwell Lido. The role BLU plays has evolved over the years and will continue to evolve, but the new charity creates a new legal entity best able to represent lido users.
