Waterwords: Lido Poems by Brockwell Lido swimmers. Edited by Melanie L. Mauthner and Hylda Sims

…The ice cold water touched my toes
I took a deep breath
And my world changed

To celebrate the Lido’s 70th birthday – and its escape from demolition – BLU ran poetry workshops by the pool in the summer of 2007 for swimmers to write about water. More than 100 of these poems, mostly written and illustrated by children, are published in this stunning collection.

Jacket price £6.95. ISBN 978-0-9556270-1-9
